Anthony M. Buzzanca, 85, passed away April 8, 2013 in DeLand, FL. Born on October 1, 1927 in Chicago, IL, he was a painter and wallpaper hanger in Chicago until 1981 when he bought the Sugar Grove Driving Range in Sugar Grove, IL. In 1989 he and his wife Marie moved to DeLand, FL, where he spent his retirement years playing golf at the DeLand Country Club, fishing and cheering on the Chicago Bears. He is preceded in death by his wife Marie Buzzanca and is survivied by his four children, Mary (William) Buchanan, Linda (Mike) Ostermann, Frank Buzzanca and Barbara Buzzanca; his nine grandchildren, Mhairi, Julia, Caroline, Elizabeth, Nicholas, Marie, Frank, Jr., John and Linda, his three great grandchildren, Ian, Anthony and Aidan and his sister, Mary (Angelo) Dellaria. He will be greatly missed. Services will be held Thursday, April 11, 2013 at 6:00 pm at the Lankford Funeral Home in DeLand.
