BARBARA COX Obituary

Barbara F. Cox, 81, of Edgewater, died Thursday, July 29, 2010 at Ocean View Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, New Smyrna Beach. Mrs. Cox, a homemaker, was born in Gay, GA and moved to the area in 1982 from Orlando. She was a member of Edgewater Alliance Church and enjoyed spending time with her family and pets. Survivors include three sons, Ronald (Pam) Cox of New Smyrna Beach and Danny and Dennis (Joan) Cox, both of Edgewater; two daughters, Barbara (Thomas) Pentz and Cindy Lou (Steven) Davis, both of Edgewater; 24 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren and several great great grandchildren. Funeral service will be 2 PM Monday, August 3, 2010 at Dudley Edgewater Chapel with Rev. Kyle McQuillen of Edgewater Alliance Church, officiating. Burial will follow in Edgewater-New Smyrna Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from 1 PM until the service time at Dudley Edgewater Chapel. Donations may be made to Hospice of Volusia/Flagler, 3800 Wood-briar Trail, Port Orange, FL 32129.
