Funeral Services for Mr. Bobby Lewis White, 57, Daytona Beach, will be 1 PM, Saturday, August 3, 2013 at MLK Church of Christ, with Minister Stoney M. King, officiating. Interment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery. Calling hours are from 5 – 8:30 PM, today, (Fri., Aug. 2) at RJ Gainous Funeral Home and from 11:30 AM until service time at the church on Sat. Bobby was born in Lafayette, Alabama to the late Simpson R. White and Nettie K. King. He started his early childhood education in Chambers County Elementary Schools. The family later moved to Melbourne, Florida where he graduated from Melbourne High School. Bobby loved his family, fishing, cooking, he was a self made mechanic and lover of mankind, he never met a stranger, and loved helping people. Bobby's wife and children were the most important in his life and he was a genuine friend to so many people. He was preceded in death by one brother, Wilson Holloway. He leaves behind to grieve, his devoted wife, Sabrina; his children: April Joy White, Jelisa Newton and Bobby A. White; his brothers and sisters: Cleveland (Betty) King, Willie James King, all of Valley, AL, David (Nancy) King of Palm Bay, FL, Geraldine King of Melbourne, FL, Patricia (Keith) Robinson of Richmond, VA, Cathy King of Melbourne, FL, Stoney (Kia) King of Fayetteville, NC, Simpson (Mary) King of Palm Bay, FL, Richard (Ann) White of Melbourne, FL; a goddaughter: Ziyah Harris of Daytona Bch, FL; aunts: Dorothy Linson, Sally Jo King, Mary Parker all of Melbourne, FL; A host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
