Bruce Culver Ten Broeck, (1953 - 2013), 60, of Albuquerque, N.M., died Wednesday, Sept. 18, 2013 at his home following a courageous two-year battle with cancer. He was born Feb. 15, 1953 in Ft. Eustis, Va. to Culver and Edna (Beaver) Ten Broeck, and was reared primarily in South Daytona Beach, Fla., where he graduated from Mainland High School. His attended Mary Karl Vocational School where he studied electronics. He worked as a test engineer for first Lockheed Martin and later, UTC Aerospace Systems. He enjoyed traveling, SCUBA diving and spending time with his grandchildren. Survivors include his wife, Carla; daughters, Michelle (Warren) Langley of Littleton, Colo. and Cherish Trammell of Durango, Colo., Caci (Daniel) Cooper of Albuquerque and Alyshia Gallop of Normal, Ill.; eight grandchildren; mother, Edna Ten Broeck of Clayton, Ga.; brothers, Alan (Tammy) Ten Broeck of Ormond Beach, Fla., Tom (Carolyn) Ten Broeck of Williston, Fla.; sisters, Sharon (Karl) Kupfer of Richmond Hill, Ga., Carol (Tom) Lawrence of Ormond Beach, Fla. and Jane (Ken) Petrie of Lehigh Acres, Fla. He was preceded in death by his father, Culver Ten Broeck. A memorial service was held Tuesday, Sept. 24 at 10 a.m. at Daniels Family Funeral Services in Albuquerque.
