Carl Westley Johnson was born March 23, 1956 Julius and Lois McMillan Johnson (both deceased) in DeLand, Florida. He attended Volusia County Schools and graduated from Job Corps. On his job, he served as a sub-contractor for the United States in Fort Benning, GA. He leaves to cherish his memories: son: Carl Westley Johnson Jr., Atlanta, GA; daughters: Shanonvina "Shawn" Marks, DeLand, FL; Catoya Johnson, Columbus, GA, Treshur Collie, Cara Johnson and Amber Collie, Atlanta, GA; Courtney Johnson, Phoenix City, AL; Serenity Ioter, Columbus, SC; Significant other Children: Natasha Hernandez, Roberto "Beto" Hernandez, Raymundo "JR" Hernandez; (14) grandchildren and one great-granddaughter; three brothers: Ronnie Jenkins (Cynthia); Atlanta, Georgia; Ramon Howell (Kay), Jacksonville, FL; Kenneth Johnson (Tonya), DeLand, FL; two sisters: Barbara Patrick and Sandra Johnson, both of DeLand, Florida; one sister-in-law: Starnette Johnson, DeLand, FL; one aunt: Cornelius Smith, Lakeland, FL; A Special Companion: Janice Hernandez; a host of neices, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many close friends. His life will be celebrated 11am Saturday, April 6, 2013 at the Saint Annis Primitive Baptist Church, 502 South Orange Avenue, DeLand, Elder Eugene Johnson, pastor, officiating. Visitation will be held today (Friday) from 4pm to 7pm at J. E. Cusack Mortuary and Saturday from 10am until service time at the church.
