Cecilia Anne Cox, 87, of Port Orange and Stuart, FL passed away April 4, 2013. She was born on November 23, 1925 in New York, daughter of the late James and Anna (McDermott) Fawls. Cecilia moved to Florida in 1997 from Manhasset, NY, and will always be remembered as a gracious and intelligent woman. She enjoyed reading, family gatherings, painting, playing Bridge, and doing crafts. Her memberships include The Red Hat Society and Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church, Port Orange. Left to cherish her memory is her husband of 64 years Frank; her children Ann Marie (Jim) McAvey, Vincent (Ann) Cox, Eileen (Mike) Ricci, Rosemary Cox-Collins, Gloria (Bob) Dickson, Louise (Doug) Booth, and Stephen Cox; 13 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her son-in-law Richard Collins and two brothers. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Thursday, April 25, 2013 at Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church, 4675 S. Clyde Morris Blvd., Port Orange. The family requests in lieu of flowers donations be made to Halifax Hospice of Volusia/Flagler, 3800 Woodbriar Trail, Port Orange, FL 32129.
