Charles "Chris" Carey died unexpectedly on January 19, 2013 at the age of 64. He lived in Palm Coast, Florida. Chris was born in Fort Knox, Kentucky, to Merle and Sarah Carey and was the eldest of two sons. As a member of a military family, he was raised all over the world. During that time, he was a National Merit Finalist and earned the rank of Eagle Scout. Chris graduated from Dartmouth College in 1970 and earned his MBA from the Tuck School of Business in 1971. He served in the U.S. Military as a Lieutenant Tank Commander for two years. Then he had a distinguished career in senior marketing and sales, product/business development and executive management. During his career, he worked for General Foods, Citicorp, American Express, General Electric, Capital One and Korn Ferry. His passion, drive, creativity and integrity were always admired by his colleagues and contributed to his success. Chris loved golf, skiing, scuba diving, photography and was an avid international traveler. He was always devoted to his family and is survived by his loving wife Molly; and his four children: Sarah, Nick, Andrew and Kelly.
