Clara Cipra (Pilarski), age 84, of New Smyrna Beach, FL, died on April 21, 2013 at Halifax Health Hospice of Volusia /Flagler, Edgewater Care Center after a courageous battle against cancer. Clara was born in West Newton, Pennsylvania, in 1929 to Stanley Pilarski and Katherine Stachurski. She married Roland Cipra in 1962. They moved from Pennsylvania to New Smyrna Beach in 1986. Clara loved cooking and teaching others to cook. She was an avid reader, an animal lover and an artist. She also enjoyed gardening, doing crafts, and spending time with her family. Clara was a loving wife, daughter, sister and aunt. She is survived by sister-in-law, Imogene Pilarski; three nieces, JoLee (Mike) Mathioudakis, Lori (Dennis) Yelland, and Amy (Marty) Gushman; and six great-nieces and great-nephews, Michael, Lexi, Jonathan, Timothy, Kristina, and Griffin. Clara was preceded in death by her husband, Roland in 2006, her parents, and her brothers, Regis and Stanley. At the request of Clara, no services will be held.
