Coralee O. Halley, 64, of Palm Coast, Florida passed away on June 8, 2012 at Stuart F. Meyer Hospice House. A Funeral Service will be held today (Friday June 15, 2012) at 11 AM at the Santa Maria Del Mar Catholic Church, 915 North Central Avenue, Flagler Beach, FL 32136. There will be a reception immediately following at the Father O'Flaherty parish hall. Coralee was born in Belleville Illinois, graduating from Dupo High School. She went on to attend and graduate from St. Louis University with her Master's Degree in Nursing. Coralee worked as a nursing instructor for the Barnes Hospital in St. Louis, only retiring to become her mother's primary care giver. Coralee married her husband Samuel on May 14, 1982. They relocated to Palm Coast from Naples in 2005. Coralee quickly became a member of the 9 and 18 Holers of Grand Haven, The Grand Haven Women's club and the My Way Dance Club of Grand Haven. She had a love for golf and enjoyed playing every day that she could. She was especially proud of her "Hole in One". Coralee was a gifted artist who created unique greeting cards and stylish sun visors and many of them can be found at local specialty shops. She had a real zest for life, and a passion for living every day to its fullest. Coralee is survived by her beloved husband of 30 years Samuel Halley of Palm Coast, step-daughter Toni Lynne Halley of Kentucky. She also leaves behind several cousins and many dear friends.
