To the Wesser Family,
It is with great sadness that I sign this guest book for Dave. I would walk by his office to get to mine everyday, and I will miss that.....HEY KIDDO! that he greeted me with every single day. I will miss him calling me into his office to show me new pictures of his grandchildren or pictures of his children's graduation, or pictures of his lovely wife......"My Child Bride" as Dave always referred to her.

I will miss his always cheering me up when the day was long or hard, or something gone wrong. He would leave a little note on my desk or come in and say......"Pat, some people just take their self too seriously"

What a sobering thought! It always worked. It did not hurt much that Dave always stuck up for me. If there was some problem or issue, No matter what, I can hear him saying, "Pat you do a good job!", he will be missed!

Thanks for the memories Dave......I still hear HEY KIDDO!

To the Wesser Family,

My thoughts and prayers go out to all of you at this very sad time. I did not know Dr Wesser personally, but he talked my brother Eric into going into treatment at SM and took him under his wing. Without him and Eric's friends, I don't know that he would have gone and this might have been us. I was so shocked and saddened when I heard the news. I am attaching a poem that someone sent me at the loss of my dad and I hope it helps to bring you the same peace it gave me:

God saw you getting tired,
and a cure was not to be,
so he put his arm around you and whispered "come to me".
With tearful eyes we watched you, and saw you pass away.
Although we loved you dearly,
we could not make you stay.
A golden heart stopped beating, hard working hands at rest.
God broke our heart to prove to us, He only takes the best.

Thank you for letting Dr Wesser give of his time for others, even though his health was poor. He was a saint on earth for many and now he will take his place in Heaven, like the poem says- God only takes the best. Again, my deepest sympathy to your family and may God help you get through this time knowing how many people your husband (dad) has helped.
God bless you all.

My prayers go out to the family. I would like to say that I had as much or more respect for Dr. Dave Wesser than any other person that I have ever known. He will be missed.
