Dona Gregis Poston, age 91, of New Smyrna Beach, died Friday May 3, 2013. Born in Clarksburg, West Virginia, Mrs. Poston came to this area in 1983 from Miami, where she had been a stock manager for Food Fair Grocery. A fabulous cook, Mrs. Poston enjoyed traveling, playing cards, crocheting, knitting, and shopping. Survivors include her son, John Stephen Wenter of Parachute, Colorado; a daughter, Dody Sapp and husband, Jerry, of New Smyrna Beach; a brother, Anthony Gregis and wife, Juliet, of Sebring; and a granddaughter, Mary Joann Sapp of New Orleans, Louisiana. A graveside service will be 1:30 p.m. Monday, May 5 in the All Faiths Mausoleum at Sea Pines Memorial Gardens, Edgewater, with Father Glenn Parker, Redemptorist Fathers, officiating. The family is especially grateful for Mrs. Poston's caregivers, Tina Phinney and her family for the loving care they gave her. The family requests no food or flowers.
