Donald Kenneth Irby, "Herbie"- After a long illness, Donald Kenneth Irby, "Herbie", 70, of DeBary, died peacefully on Monday, July 29th, surrounded by his family and friends. Don spent his early years in Georgia & New York, moving to DeBary from Orlando in 1988. He served in the Army and was employed as an Operations Supervisor at FIS for 26 years. Don was a great storyteller, a talented wood carver and restorer of vintage vehicles and furniture. Don is survived by his wife of 34 years, Peggy, his brothers, Marshall of Hawthorne, Wayne of Mattituck, NY, Mike of Ft. Myers and Brian of Pt. Charlotte. His children, Jamie of New Mexico, Jennie Huffman (Dane) of DeBary, Dawn of Orlando, Jason (Michelle) of Raleigh NC and Martie of Orange City. His Grandchildren, Desiree Irby, Legend Irby, Carter Bell, Charleigh and Dawson Huffman. Please join the family to share in a celebration of Don's life, to be held Saturday, August 3 at 11am at the clubhouse at RIVIERA BELLA, 660 Riviera
Bella Dr., DeBary, FL 32713. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Halifax Health Hospice, 3800 Woodbriar Trl., Port Orange, FL 32129.
