Funeral Service for Erma Jean Stokes, 55, Daytona Beach, who died June 14, 2012 in Daytona Beach, will be 2 p.m. today (Sat., June 23, 2012) at Living Faith World Ministries. Pastor Ricardo Spencer, pastor, Jesus People Covenant Ministries, officiating. Burial will be at Greenwood Cemetery. Ms. Stokes was born in Quitman, GA and moved to this area at an early age. She was a 1974 graduate of Mainland High School. She loved entertaining family and friends, gardening and shopping. She worked in the Hospitality and Hotel industry for 22 years and retired from employment with Bethune-Cookman University in 2009. Survivors include: Devoted Companion Charles Blair, Sr.; children: LaTonya Brooks, Charles Blair, Jr., Deshawn Antonio Blair; mother, Wyomia Stokes; granddaughters: Breonna, D'Kwona, Ayana; sisters: Barbara Jean Stokes, Cora Mae Stokes, Delores Lee (Rufus), Diane Lindor (Stephane); brothers: Larry Stokes, Herbert McArthur (Linda), Willie McArthur, Leroy McArthur, Tyrone Rudolph McArthur; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends.
