Geoffrey Alan Weeks, 32, Port Orange, FL, pianist, singer, songwriter and teacher, passed away June 10, 2013 at Florida Hospital Orlando, FL. Geoffrey was born in Fort St. John, British Columbia, Canada and moved to this area in January 1981 from Canada. Geoffrey studied piano since the age of 7. He was blessed with the tutoridge of the late Harold Blanchard, and Mr. & Mrs. Andrew Kidd from middle school thourgh high school. His love was jazz, and he excelled at improvisation. Geoffrey also loved his Lord Jesus, and used his talents to praise Him. He worked on the praise and worship team at Port Orange Church of the Nazarene until he became ill. He graduated from Spruce Creek High School, Port Orange in 1998. Geoffrey traveled extensively to explore music options and opportunities. His friend base was in astronomical proportions. He loved each and everyone. Geoffrey loved life itself, everything in and about it, including his Lord and Savior, his family, friends, music, the beach, and frisbee golf, but most of all, his little princessTaylor Nevaeh Weeks.When she was born she became the love of his life and everything else was second chair. They had a love and a bond that will never be broken. His body might be gone, but his spirit lives on in our hearts, especially in the heart of his beloved daughter. We love you Geoffrey.
