Mass of Christian Burial for Harold Aldo, 84, New Smyrna Beach, who died Sun., Oct. 29, 2006, will be 9:30 a.m. Fri., Nov. 3, at Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church, 4000 S. Atlantic Ave., New Smyrna Beach. Interment will follow at Sea Pines Cemetery, Edgewater. Friends may call from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Thursday at Baldwin Brothers Funeral & Cremation Service, One North Causeway. Mr. Aldo moved to New Smyrna Beach in 1990 from Shelton, Conn. He was an Army veteran of World War II. He worked for BF Goodrich Company in Shelton and Textron Lycoming Company, Stratford, Conn., for many years. He was a member of Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church and an avid golfer. Harold is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Nancy; sons, Joseph and daughter-in-law, Sharon, Derby, Conn., and David, East Haven, Conn.; daughter, Sandra Pelletier, and son-in-law, Valmore, Voorheesville, N.Y.; five grandchildren, Lisa, Brian, Evan, Matthew and Alexis; three sisters, Anna Persano and Dorthy Blanko, both of Thompson, Ga., and Lillian McGuire, Seymour, Conn. The family requests memorial donations to The American Cancer Society, 1620 S. Clyde Morris Blvd., Daytona Beach, FL 32119. Send condolonces to www.baldwinbros.net.
