Harold Craig Cantrell, (Hal), 79, passed away in Daytona Beach, Florida on Thursday the 14th of February after a long battle with Parkinson's Disease and Heart Problems. He was born in Elizabethtown, Kentucky. He served in the U.S. Air Force where he worked in Aircraft Maintenance, Communications, and Electronics. He worked for NASA doing Instrument Telemetry at the beginning of the Space Program. He retired from the Civil Service in Communications. He enjoyed Ham Radio where his call sign was W0PU. He spent his retirement fishing and traveling the United States. He is survived by his wife Lynn (Cheek); sons Glenn, Craig; daughters Charlotte, Cindy, Jenifer; brother Mike Cardwell; 11 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. He is predeceased by daughter Debbie and one grandson. Memorial Service will be held at a later date and the family requests donations be made to Parkinson's Foundation in honor of Hal Cantrell.
