Mr. Harry G. Eads, 76, of Astor, passed away Wednesday, November 14, 2012. Born in Oakland City, Indiana, he moved to Astor from Patoka, Indiana in 2001. He worked in the oil fields in his younger years and later owned and operated H & W Enterprises which included Auto Sales, Lube 'n Go and a Laundry Mat. He was a member of the AmVets Post 13, DeLand, charter member of the Astor Moose Lodge and a 37 year member of the Eagles. He was a member of the Abundant Life Fellowship, Barberville. Survivors include his wife of 38 years, Wilma Eads, Astor, FL; daughters: Debby Eads, Grapevine, TX, Angela (Grant) Gottschall, Aurora Hills, CA; and two grandchildren, Sammy Gottschall and Lexi Gottschall. So sorry to hear of your loss Wilma. I was just telling my youngest daughter about you and Harry and going to see you with mom and dad. Meghan my daughter is married to Cory Powers,son of Gary and Pudge. I have been having a rough time this year after the loss of mom, but I will get through it somehow, Again I am sorry for your loss. I am on facebook if you ever want to talk or if you ever get up this way I would love to see you. I have moms house now but also have one out on hwy 64 east towards oakland city.
