Harvey Peter "Pete" Gregory, Sr., 72, of DeLeon Springs, passed away on February 7, 2013 at Florida Hospital DeLand. He was born in Punxsu-tawney, Pennsylvania on December 12, 1940. Pete was the co-owner of Feasel's Paint and Glass since 1976. He was a member of the DeLand Chamber of Commerce and active in the Home Builders Association. He was a member of the PLDRC, a planning and land development organization that advised county officials. Pete loved to hunt and fish. He loved being in the outdoors and collected antique tackle. His survivors include his wife of 41 years, Cheryl; sons P.J. Gregory, Jr. of Long Beach, Mississippi and Leo Gregory of DeLand; daughters Marjorie Gregory of DeLeon Springs and Tina Riquelmy and husband Anthony of Round Rock, Texas; brothers Harlund Gregory and wife Shirley of Bristol, Tennessee and John Gregory and wife Ease of DeLand; sisters Sara "Susie" Slaydon and husband Russell of Utah and Patricia Cowart and husband Johnny of DeLeon Springs; and seven grandchildren. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, February 12th at 7pm, with the family receiving friends from 6-7pm, at the Allen-Summerhill Memorial
