Hilda Meyer Dunaieff, age 92, of Daytona Beach, died Saturday, March 16, 2013. Born in Derby, Connecticut, Mrs. Dunaieff moved to this area from Bayside, New York in 1963. She is the widow of Jack J. Dunaieff and the mother of Russell Dunaieff and Harriet Shair. Hilda was a member of Temple Israel, Daytona Beach, as well as Hadassah. She worked as a bookkeeper for various firms in this area. Hilda enjoyed mah jongg, bingo and socializing with friends at poolside in the Riverside Condos where she resided since moving to Daytona Beach. Hilda is survived by her son and daughter; three grandchildren, Beth Shair-Goyer of Park Slope, Brooklyn, New York, Deborah Shair of Eagle Rock, California, and David Shair of Glendale, California; and two great-grandchildren, Alice and Beatrice Goyer of Park Slope, Brooklyn, New York. Burial will be Tuesday, March 19 at 3 p.m. at Mt. Sinai Cemetery, Daytona Beach, Florida.
