Hildegard Palinski, 93, a resident of Ormond Beach. passed away at home, Thursday, August 8th surrounded by her family and friends. She was born in 1920 in Jastrow Germany. She was the oldest daughter of Maria Fenske and August Bliss. In 1926, her family moved from Germany to New Milford, New Jersey. She moved to Ormond Beach in 1986 with her late husband Stanley. She was an active member in The Tomoka United Methodist Church and her community. She taught water aerobics at The Falls for 16 years. She was loved by many for her caring and kind heart. She enjoyed spending time with her family an friends. She was predeceased by her first husband, Howard Trensch, who died in combat in WWII; and by her son, Howard Trensch Jr. She also was predeceased by her second husband, Larry Bunting; her third husband, Stanley Palinski Sr.; her brother, Gunter Bliss and sister-in law, Hermine Bliss. She is survived by her sister, Gerda Meyers of California; daughter, Eleanor Hood; her stepson, Stanley Palinski Jr. and his wife, Dee Palinski. She also is survived by four grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. Her family wishes to thank Halifax Hospice of Volusia/ Flagler who helped her and her family through her final days. Private arrangements were handled by Alavon Direct Cremation.
