Christopher Kulig. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services. Jeff and his family have been residents of Ormond Beach since 1977, relocating from Olmsted Falls, Ohio. He was a Real Estate Broker, a 3rd Degree member of the Knights of Columbus, a member of AA, and a talented guitar player. He formed and played in a duo known as "Jeff and Rick" in Ohio. Jeff's favorite pastime was fishing and spending time with his family. His wonderful sense of humor will be greatly missed. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Jeffery's memory to his granddaughter, Mary's, college education fund. Jeffery was born January 17, 1942 in Cleveland, Ohio to James and Kathryn (Yost) Laux. He is survived by his wonderful wife of 51 years, Emily Laux of Ormond Beach; his sons, Jeffery "Jeff" Laux, Ormond Beach, and Daniel "Dan" Laux, S. Daytona Beach, FL; his daughter, Kathy Moore, Chebanse, IL; his siblings, Kathy, Dan, Mary Lou, Dickie, Rita, Theresa, and Tommy; his eight grandchildren, Melenie, Josh, Amanda, Arika, Mary, Jeffery Jr., Luke, and Casey; as well as two great-grandchildren, Boston and Brooklyn. He was preceded in death by his parents, a daughter, Michelle Goodrich, two sisters, Barbara "Barb", Madeline, and a brother Charlie. Arrangements are under the care of Lohman Funeral Home Ormond.
