Joan Bauchiero, 87, of Daytona Beach, passed away peacefully on June 17, 2018 at the Halifax Health Care Center, Ormond Beach, FL. Joan was born in Pittsfield, MA to Clifford and Florence Savary. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from Putnam Catholic Academy / Catholic University of America in 1948. She worked at Kelsey's grocery store where she met the love of her life, Joseph Bauchiero. They married on June 21, 1952. They were blessed with two daughters. She worked as a payroll clerk at Eaton Paper Company. In 1968 Joan and her family moved to Daytona Beach, FL. Joan was a woman with a big heart who loved her family and friends. When she came to anyone's home she always said "what can I do to help you?". She volunteered for Council on Aging delivering meals to home bound people. She enjoyed spending time with her family, going to the movies, going out to dinner, playing cards, taking family cruises, and trips to Las Vegas. She also enjoyed bingo and social functions at the clubhouse where she resided. She is preceded in death by her husband Joseph Bauchiero, her grandson Ryan Godwin, and her dear friend Lorraine Abercrombie. Joan is survived by her daughter June Beer, son-in-law Mahlon Beer, Daughter Karen McCranie, son-in-law Leon McCranie, granddaughter Camille Young and spouse Roger Young, granddaughter Allison Godwin, granddaughter Renee Cobb and spouse Brian Cobb, great grandson Dean Cobb, great granddaughter Bella Cobb, sister Marilyn Archey and spouse Frank Archey, niece Kristine Bradley and spouse John Bradley, nephew Kevin Savary and spouse Donna Savary. A memorial mass will be held at Our Lady of Hope Catholic on June 29, 2018 at 8:30am. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you consider a donation to Halifax Health Hospice.
