Funeral services for Mr. John Wyche "Bopping John", 63, Daytona Beach, who passed on Sunday, October 13, 2013 will be 5:30 PM, Thursday, October 17, 2013 at RJ Gainous Funeral Home. Calling hours are from 5 - 8 PM, today, (Wed., Oct. 16) at RJ Gainous Funeral Home and from 4 PM until service time in the chapel on Thursday. Military Honors Services will take place in Wyche Cemetery, Hahira, GA on Sat., Oct. 19, 2013. Mr. Wyche was born in Thomasville, GA on January 6, 1950 to Beatrice Wyche and the late Thomas Wyche. He was a self employed cabinet maker. He served in the United States Marine Corps. He enjoyed working on cars, hunting with his nephew, Jeffrey Brooks and watching his favorite TV channel, HGTV. He was preceded in death by his father, a sister: Mildred Brooks; brothers: Thomas Wyche, Jr., Leroy Wyche and a niece: Sgt. Veronica Y.H. Ford. He leaves to cherish his memory: a son: Andre' Maragh, Orlando, FL; a daughter: Chaneka Williams, Daytona Bch; a loving and devoted mother: Beatrice Wyche, Daytona Bch, who never left his side when he entered Indigo Manor Rehabilitation / Assisted Living Facility; a sister: Marjorie Hicks, who was their mom's leaning post; a very special friend: Leslie Harris, Tallahassee, FL; the 4 Amigos, his nephews: James, Angelo, Jeffrey and Rodney Brooks, who brought so much laughter into his life and a host of nephews, nieces, including Tawana Hicks, who was there from the beginning to the end, making sure he had all the health care that he needed; cousins and friends.
