A Mass of Christian Burial for Joseph Anthony Cirone, 85, of Ocean Crest Dr., Ormond Beach, who went to be with his Lord, Friday (Nov. 23, 2012), will be celebrated Tuesday at 10:00 am at St. Brendan's Catholic Church, 1000 Oceanshore Blvd., Ormond Beach with Rev. Father Thomas Barrett as celebrant. Friends wishing to call and pay their respects may do so Monday from 4 pm until 6 pm at the Dale Woodward Chapel By The Sea, 1780 Oceanshore Blvd., Ormond Beach. A wake service will be held at 6:00 pm. A native of Brooklyn, NY, Mr. Cirone moved to this area in 1974 from Long Island, NY. He was a retired New York law officer and a U.S. Army veteran. Joseph was a member of St. Brendan's Catholic Church and enjoyed fishing and coin collecting. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Rose Ann; son, Salvatore (Julie) of Englewood, CO; daughter, Rose Linda Pellizzi (Rob), of Rockville Centre, NY; son, Anthony "Tony" (Trish), of Ormond Beach; niece, Rosina Paul (Dion) of Jacksonville, FL; five grandchildren, Joseph, Gregory, Michelle, Michael and Dante.
