Joseph John Albano, 91, New Smyrna Beach, died Thursday, May 8, 2008, at Halifax Medical Center with his daughter by his side. Mr. Albano was born January 10, 1917, in Ravena, N.Y. He and his wife, Edith, who preceded him in death in 2003 moved to this area in 1972 from New Baltimore, N.Y. Mr. Albano was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus and enjoyed fishing and dancing. He is survived by his devoted children, Joan Boomer, Schenectady, N.Y., Michael Albano, Tampa, Fla., Joseph Albano, Murrayville, Ga., and Richard Albano, Pompano Beach, Fla.; 10 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by two sons, Paul and Robert. Interment will take place at St. Patrick's Cemetery, Coeymans, N.Y.
