Joseph W. Knight passed away peacefully Sunday, May 12th at his home at age 93. He was born Nov. 16, 1919 in Youngstown, Ohio. He was the only child of Percy and Lillian Knight. He grew up in Girard, Ohio, after graduating high school joined the Army Air Corps in 1941. He served in England and North Africa during World War II. He married Patricia Moroney on Dec. 23, 1944. They were married for 68 years. Joe worked for Youngstown Sheet and Tube and LTV Corp. as a manager in sales. He enjoyed golf and being outdoors. After retirement he and Pat moved to South Daytona, FL. His survivors include his wife Pat whom he adored; son and daughter-in-law Robert and Barbara; and a grandson Ryan. He will be remembered in a weekday Mass at Our Lady Of Hope at a later date.
