Funeral service for Joyce A. Johnson, 66, Daytona Beach, who passed away suddenly in Savannah, Georgia will be held Friday, October 11, 2013 at 11:00 am at Crossroads Baptist Church, 1951 S. Clyde Morris Blvd., Daytona Beach with Pastor Dan Proctor and Rev. Dan Webster co officiating. Interment will follow at Volusia Memorial Cemetery Ormond Beach. Friends wishing to call and pay their respects may do so Thursday from 6:00 until 8:00 pm at Dale Woodward Funeral Home, 167 Ridgewood Ave Holly Hill. Mrs. Johnson was born in Bonsal, North Carolina and moved to this area in 1971 from Apex, North Carolina. She was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church Daytona Beach. She loved spending time with her precious grandchildren including attending the boy's baseball games. Survivors include her husband, Tommy; two sons, Tommy Johnson, Jr. and Johnny Johnson (Frankie) all of Daytona Beach; four sisters, Pat Truelove (Lane), New Hill, NC, Peggy Hackney (Ray), Pittsboro, NC, Melinda Eubanks (Jerry), Erwin, NC and Susan Wolfe, Siler City, NC; a brother, Ronald Wolfe, Apex, NC; and eight grandchildren, Jordan, Kristen, Morgan, Justin, Shawn, Jackson, Haley, and Jaden.
