Linda M. Mewhorter

Linda M. Mewhorter, 74, passed away on May 13, 2018 in Orange City, Florida. She was born in Schenectady, New York on April 9, 1944 to Gerald Keegan and Mary Potter. She married Earl Mewhorter in 1961. Linda drove a race car in 1968 and was the first female driver inducted into the Central New York Stock Car Hall of Fame in 2014. She enjoyed crochet and volunteering at Florida Hospital. Linda is survived by two sons; Earl Everette Mewhorter, Jr. of Woodruff, South Carolina and Michael James Mewhorter of DeLeon Springs, Florida, and two grandchildren; Michael James Mewhorter, II of Jacksonville, Florida and Madison Jewel Mewhorter of DeLeon Springs, Florida. Services will be held at Wava's Hall, located at 200 North Holly Ave in Orange City, Florida from 4pm to 8pm on June 23, 2018. She will be deeply missed by all.
