Loretta Frankie
03/20/1941 - 07/06/2018
Heaven has received a faithful, humble angel, known to many as "A Caring One." It is with immense sorrow that the family and friends of Loretta Frankie announce her passing on 7/6/2018. Loretta lived a rich, full and bountiful life. Her radiant spirit touched and impressed all who met her. Loretta owned and operated a home care agency in New York, fittingly named "Caring Services." For 20 years she helped provide at home care to local families until her retirement in 2002. She and her love of 52 years, the late Robert Frankie Sr., then moved to their paradise in Daytona Beach Shores, FL and quickly made lasting friendships. She loved to entertain and was well known for her parties, luncheons, and get togethers that were full of great food, fun and laughter. Loretta is survived by her son Robert, daughter Laura, son-in-law Steve, and adored grandchildren Steven and LeeAnne. She also leaves behind nieces Roseanne, Beth, Deborah, and Barbara; nephews Paul, Ricky, and Paul, as well as numerous great nephews and nieces. Among the many grieving are her good friends Chris, Karen, Trudy, Dolly, and Tom. Loretta was always kind, loving, warm, and genuinely welcoming and will be sorely missed. A Memorial Celebration will be held on Saturday, July 14th at Shannon Maloney Funeral Home, 4084 Halifax Drive, Port Orange beginning at 1pm. A short service will begin at 2pm with Rev. Bernard Kiratu officiating. The celebration will then continue at the Royal Atlantic Condo, Daytona Beach Shores. In lieu of flowers, the family humbly requests donations to the St. Jude Children's Fund.
