The family of Margo P. Atwell, 66, Lake Point Circle, Port Orange, who died Sunday, Oct. 1, 2006, will receive friends today (Tuesday, Oct. 3) from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Volusia Memorial Funeral Home, 4815 Clyde Morris Blvd, Port Orange. Ms. Atwell, retired as an accountant with Petronio Construction Company and a clerk at Chris's Gifts of Daytona, was born in Lewisburg, Pa., and moved to this area in 1989 from Albion, N.Y. A member of St. Joseph's Church in Albion and Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church of Port Orange, she was also active in Treasure for the Daughters of Penelope, Daytona Beach Chapter. She is survived by her three sons, Michael (Laura), Albion, Lauren (Melanie), Jacksonville, and James (Christine), Edgewater; two brothers, Carl (Carol) and John (JoAnn) Petronio, Brockport, N.Y.; and five grandchildren, Jacob, Port Orange, Rebecca, Albion, Lauren (L.T.) and Colt, both of Jacksonville, and Dominick, Edgewater. Mass of Christian Burial and interment will be in Albion. Family requests memorial donations to Hospice of Volusia/Flagler 3800 Woodbriar Trail, Port Orange, FL. Local arrangements are under the care and direction of Volusia Memorial Funeral Home, Port Orange.
