Marianne C. Clancy, 92, of New Smyrna Beach, co-founder of Clancy's Cantina, New Smyrna Beach, died Friday, June 21, 2013 at Ocean View Nursing & Rehabilitation Center. Mrs. Clancy was born in Philadelphia, PA and moved to the area in 1962 from Newburgh, NY. She was a former assistant librarian at Brannon Memorial Library and a member of Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church, both in New Smyrna Beach. She enjoyed traveling, reading and spending time with her family. She is survived by seven sons, Michael (Relda) of Denver, CO, Philip, Brian, (Kathy), Kevin (Nancy), Stephen, Frank (Teresa) and Matthew, all of New Smyrna Beach; three daughters, Mary Kate Clancy of Houston, TX, Margaret (Danny) Michelbrink and Karen (Mark) Hodgson, both of New Smyrna Beach; one brother, Raymond Donohoe of Watertown, CT; twenty grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, William W. "Bill" Clancy and two brothers, William and Daniel Donohoe. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 AM Wednesday, June 26, 2013 at Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church, New Smyrna Beach with Fr. John S. Murray, Pastor, as the celebrant. Burial will follow in Edgewater-New Smyrna Cemetery, Edgewater. Visitation will be from 5PM until 8PM Tuesday, June 25, 2013 at Dudley Funeral Home, New Smyrna Beach. Memorial donations may be made to Our Lady Star of the Sea Human Service Ministry, 4000 S. Atlantic Ave., New Smyrna Beach, FL 32169.
