Mark Jay Caromano
01/29/1957 - 09/13/2018
Mark passed peacefully surrounded by his girls on September 13, 2018 after a short battle with cancer. Mark was passionate about life, his family and his music. A lifelong resident of the Daytona Beach area, Mark graduated from Mainland High School in 1975 and graduated Daytona State College in 1977 with his Associates of Arts. Not only did Mark play music locally throughout the years, but he also wrote and produced his own original island-themed music as 'Mark on the World'. Mark was predeceased by his mother, Patricia Wells. He is survived by the love of his life Deborah (Wind) and his two loving daughters - 'Princess' Margaret Joyce and Dawn Angela. Mark's family will host a private celebration of life on the beach Saturday morning, September 29, 2018. The beach celebration will be followed by a brunch at his daughter's house from 9-11 am where family and friends are welcome to come pay their respects. All are welcome to join the family that Saturday evening as well to spend time doing what Mark loved most, listening to live music on the beach and partying like the rockstar Mark always knew he was. Location TBD. In lieu of flowers, the family would like donations to be made in Mark's name to Children's Musical Theatre Workshop, Inc., a local non-profit serving the children of Volusia & Flagler counties to promote the arts in our youth.
