Marta Wisniewski, 87, passed away October 13, 2013 in Daytona Beach, FL. Marta was born in Ukraine, October 25, 1925 and met her husband Stefan (Steve) in Germany where they married in 1945. They came to Flint Michigan in 1951, where they worked and raised their family until they moved to Florida in 1974. She worked as a professional seamstress creating custom draperies and later worked at McLaren General Hospital until retiring to Florida. Marta leaves her husband, Steve, of 68 years; daughter Casi (Rod) Trier; son, Joseph (Paula); son, Erv (Cathy); grandchildren: Rebecca (Theresa) Trier, Stephen (Pam) Wisniewski, Adam (Britani) Wisniewski, Michael Wisniewski, Diane (Mike) Jedynak, Andrew Wisniewski. . Her family received friends Tuesday, Oct. 15 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Haigh-Black Funeral Home, 167 Vining Court, Ormond Beach with a prayer service held at 7:00 p.m.
