Michael Albert Covello passed away with family and close friends by his side on August 15th at Halifax Hospital. He was born in Massachusetts on February 5, 1959 to Ann and Albert Covello. He worked at Daytona Nissan as Parts and Service Director. Mike enjoyed fishing, music and car racing. He was a member of Sports Car Club of America and played bass for the Moonlighters. He is survived by his father, 3 sisters and their spouses and 6 nephews. Services will be held on Tuesday, August 20th at 9:00am at Basilica of St Paul Catholic Church in Daytona Beach. Mike enjoyed life and laughter with friends so we will have a gathering to celebrate his life at Riverside Pavilion at 3431 Ridgewood Ave, Port Orange on Tuesday from 5:00 - 9:00pm. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Halifax Humane Society, PO Box 9035, Daytona Beach, FL 32120.
