Nancy (Clausen) Klindtworth, 71, a very special wife, mother and grandmother, passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 4, 2013. Nancy was born on June 9, 1941 in Brooklyn, NY, was the daughter of the late Knud and Marie Clausen, and graduated from Wappingers Central School in 1960. Nancy was most recently a resident of Oak Hill, Florida where she resided with her husband of 49 years, Ronald ("Ronnie"). Before retiring to Oak Hill in 2002, Nancy and Ronnie spent 40 years together in Wappingers Falls, NY where Nancy was raised. Nancy and Ronnie met in Delhi, NY while Nancy was attending the State University of New York at Delhi. Nancy graduated from SUNY Delhi in 1962 with an Associates Degree in Food Service Management. Nancy is survived by her husband Ronald Klindtworth of Oak Hill, FL; her son Jason (Melissa) Klindtworth of Guilderland, NY; her daughter Michelle (Colin) Attoe of Jacksonville, FL; her brother Louis (Barbara) Clausen of Wappingers Falls, NY and her two granddaughters Emma and Gabrielle. She was also predeceased by her brother Robert (Loraine) Clausen of Fort Pierce, FL. A celebration of her life will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, April 8 at the Settle-Wilder New Smyrna Beach Chapel, with the Reverend Robert C. Brown, Coronado Community United Methodist Church, officiating.
