Nicholas DiMartino, age 91, of Daytona Beach went to be with the Lord on Sunday, February 17, 2013. A graveside service with military honors will be held on Friday, February 22, 2013 at 2:30 P.M, in the breezeway of the eternal light mausoleum at Daytona Memorial Park Cemetery, 1425 Bellevue Ave, Daytona Beach, FL. Nicholas was born in Schenectady, New York on March 21, 1921 to the late Rose and Rosario DiMartino. He served proudly in the Army Air Corps where he was a former drill sergeant, and also a veteran of World War II. Nicholas retired from General Electric where he worked for many years as a design engineer. He is preceded in death by his beloved wife of 67 years Mary H. DiMartino. Those left to cherish her memory are her ever-loving husband of 64 years Nicholas DiMartino; daughter Sandra (Thomas) Bender; grandchildren Nicholas and Christopher Waters. Mary retired from General Electric as a Coil Tester. Arrangements are under the careful direction of Lohman Funeral Home Daytona. Condolences may be shared with the family at
