Parivash B. Hosseini passed away peacefully at her home on Sunday, October 27th, surrounded by her family. Born April 9, 1927 in Iran, Mrs. Hosseini lived primarily in Ormond Beach for the past 35 years, making her home in Plantation Bay close to her children and grandchildren. A world traveler and true visionary, she raised five children, encouraging their education and professional growth, recognizing much ahead of her time how globally connected all nations of the world would be. Her greatest gift to each of them was the unconditional love she had for her children and grandchildren, sister, brother, nieces, nephews and countless loving relatives and friends whom she kept track of with amazing accuracy, never missing the smallest detail about what was occurring in their lives and never ever hesitating to give a solid dose of advice. Only in the last year did she slow down from attending college classes, dancing classes, computer study, traveling to faraway exotic places on her own, tending to her fruit trees or her flower garden and always front and center at every single family gathering. Whether she baked a simple or fancy dessert or wrapped a gift for anyone, it would always be adorned with a fresh flower, her trademark, and usually pink flowers, which were her very favorite.

Parivash was predeceased by her husband Ali Hosseini-Kargar and a son, Reza Hosseini. She is survived by her daughter, Nasrin Hosseini and husband Mahmood; her son, Mori Hosseini and his wife, Forough; her daughter, Maryam Ghyabi; her son, Mike Kargar and his wife Marjan. Further left behind in her loving memory are her sister, Shahnaz Babazadeh and brother, Masoud Babazadeh; grandchildren, Ali Kargar; Nellie, Nina and Nika Hosseini; Paria Ghyabi; Keanu, Kayla and Dana Kargar; Mehdi, Ramin, Shahab, Roozbeh and Raham Hosseini. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 30, 2013 from 3:00 - 3:45 P.M. at Lohman Funeral Home, 733 West Granada Boulevard, Ormond Beach, FL with a private family burial service to follow immediately afterward at Volusia Memorial Park, 550 North Nova Road, Ormond Beach, FL. A reception in Mrs. Hosseini's honor will be held from 5:00 - 7:00 P.M. at the home of Mori and Forough Hosseini. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to Hospice of Volusia Flagler, 3800 Woodbriar Trail, Port Orange, FL 32129 or to Food Brings Hope, 2379 Beville Road, Daytona Beach, FL 32119.
