I worked with Paul in about 1987-1989 in Clearwater/St. Petersburg FL. It is very sad that he has passed . Always a pleasure to work with, I remember his intelligence and great sense of humor. Paul always had a kind and/or funny word. Both patients and staff loved him. My sympathies to his family. Donna (Festa) Moore RN

Paul, you were my friend and mentor in high school biology. You taught me the value of studying hard to reach my goals. You had so many talents and an incredible mind, but you didn't keep these things to yourself. You extended yourself for the good of others. You will be missed.

Not many knew of Paul's quiet and serious commitment to women's health. He was a truly compassionate physician who related to each of his patients with care and concern and gave much to the indigent and needy. I am honored to have worked with him and had his support in working for women's rights. He never said "no" to any plea for help and was always willing to go the extra mile for his patients and his friends. I'm glad I gave him one more reason to hit the thriftstores -- it was a major challenge to him to search for shoes in my size, a 4 1/2. For the love, the shoes and being a part of a great and historical time in women's health, he will always have a special place in our hearts. My sympathy to all of his family and especially to his devoted friend, Kathy, who was his "rock" for so many years....

I remember enjoying Paul's smile and humor in classes we shared at Seabreeze. Several years later I stepped off the escalator onto the main floor of a mall in Nashville, TN. I glanced to the left before turning right and realized I saw something out of place. I turned back around and there was Paul Sibley's big smile in Nashville. We visited and I learned that he was a medical student at Meharry. A few years later one of the internships for my doctorate was at Meharry Community Mental Health Center. I often thought of Paul as I walked the halls of Meharry.

We visited a few other times while he was there, but then only had visits during our reunions to catch up on the years in between. I will always remember his sweet smile and humor.

Paul was a great friend to me in high school. He was always there with a rational insight, a kind word, or hilarious joke when I needed it. Many hours were spent motoring around Daytona in the VW bus and hanging with Alyce and Jack at the house on the corner. Truly great memories.

It seems that Paul remained a person quietly committed to the important people and purposes in his life. I will always remember his friendship and wish I had been more diligent about reconnecting with him.

My thoughts are with all of you whose lives are affected by his passing.

Paul had a way of making laughter spew forth from my very shy 7th grade face. He was a friend who really wanted to know how you were. And, who truly cared. His beautiful eyes were full of love and mischief as we went forth through high school. I had lost touch with Paul and am very saddened by his death. Cory Burke Livingston

My condolences to the entire Sibley family. He was too young and still full of life to have passed at such a young age. Although we had not kept in touch since high school, I have fond memories of those days. As a physician and surgeon, I had given patients his name in the Ocala area. I know he will be missed. My his life be for a blessing.
