Shawne Xavier Butler, Jr. (Pretty Boy), 24, passed away on August 11, 2012. He was born on August 3, 1988 to Shawne Butler (Sonya Butler) and Lenore Hinson. Two significant men that played a major role in his life: Thomas Hill and Fred Nolan. Shawne grew up in Ormond Beach, Florida. He played football at Seabreeze High School and graduated from Richard Milburn Academy in Daytona, Florida in 2007. Shawn was employed at Daytona Lagoon and Sparkle and Shine Carwash; Ormond Beach, Florida. Shawne participated in MMA fighting. A man of distinguished taste, he enjoyed shopping. Shawne was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents: Herman Maddox and Florence Cynthia Boykin. Shawne is survived by his children: Herman, Samuel, Cherod, S'myah, and Shawne III. Siblings: (sisters) Quierre, Crystal, Alexis, Eboni, Destiny and Dominique; (brothers) Corey, Kevin, Shawne Christopher, Anthony, Richard, Reginald, Thomas jr. and James; his paternal grandparents: Joyce Butler and James Morgan; loving aunts: Brenda Gillis, Belinda Boykin (MC), Gail Morgan, Zelda Morgan, Jaqueline Morgan, Janice Morgan, Angela Morgan, and Andrea Wright; and loving uncles: Raymond Blye (Melanie), Freddie Boykin, Johnny Boykin (La Tisha), Michael Butler ( Francesca), Kevin Williams (Lilly), Terrye Wade, Andrew Wade, and Andrea Wright; and best friends: BJ, Shawn, Akeem, Ray, and Jordan and childhood friend; Willie and Shawn Clark. He is also survived by a host of grieving relatives and special family friend, Cue Sampson. A visitation will be held at R. J. Gainous Funeral Home: 804 Dr. Mary McLeod Bethune Blvd. at 5:00 - 8:30 PM; today (Friday August 17, 2012). A funeral service will be held at 635 Madison Avenue, Daytona Beach, Florida: Morning Star Church, Pastor Evans L. Smith on August 18, 2012 at 2:00PM. Burial will follow at Oakridge Cemetery, Ormond Beach, Florida.
