-Thomas H. Setzekorn , 83, of Palm Coast, Florida passed away after a long illness on March 6, 2013 at Grand Oaks Nursing Home, Palm Coast. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday March 15, 2013 at 11:00 AM at The First Baptist Church 6050 Palm Coast Pkwy NW Palm Coast, FL 32137. All arrangements are under the careful direction Lohman Funeral Home Palm Coast. Tom was born in St. Louis Mo on Oct. 13, 1929 to father Harold E. Setzekorn and stepmother Amelia Becker. He graduated from University City High School in 1947 and went on to Business school. Tom served as a Corporal in the U.S. Army Engineer Corp. during the Korean War. After returning home he went into the automatic door division of Stanley and Dor-o-matic. Tom was General Manager of Sales and Service in St. Louis, Indianapolis and Jacksonville. They moved to Ponte Vedra FL. from Mo. in 1989 then to Palm Coast in 1997. He was very active with his wife Bonnie in real estate both in Ponte Vedra and Palm Coast. Tom was a former ordained Elder in the Presbyterian Church and Deacon and Sunday school teacher at the First Baptist Church of Palm Coast. His great love was teaching prophecy of the Bible. He also enjoyed to sing and had a beautiful tenor voice. Tom leaves behind his beloved wife of 62 years Bonnie Setzekorn, son Jeffrey Setzekorn of Palm Coast, daughter Sandra Setzekorn Cruz of Maryland, sister Dee Eib of Overland Park, Kansas. Tom was also the loving grandpa to his five grandchildren Joshua, Ashlee, Justin, Samantha, and Alejandro and his four great grandchildren Jace, Caden, Audrey, and Baylor. He was also a loving Uncle and brother in law. Contributions in Tom's name may be made to the First Baptist Church Music Ministries. Condolences may be shared with the family online at
