Vito D. Recine, 81, passed away April 30, 2012. A mass will be held on Friday, May 4, 2012 at 9:00 A.M at Basilica of St. Paul. A visitation in Vito's honor will be on Thursday, May 3, 2012 from 6:00 P.M to 8:00 P.M at Cardwell Funeral Home, 3571 S. Ridgewood Ave, Port Orange, FL 32129 with a prayer service at 7:00 P.M. He was the beloved husband of the late Anna Recine for 54 years. Loving father of Toniann Kelley, Son-In-Law Richard, caring brother of Anthony Recine, Sister-In-Law Jane, Ralph Recine, and Betty Scaduto. Loving grandfather of Jamie Valentinetti and Jason DeProsperis. Dearest friend of Adam Tubiolo. Vito was a proud member and past president for two terms of Sons of Italy, Post #2524 Port Orange, FL. Dedicated Eucharistic Minister and Usher at Basilica of St. Paul Catholic Church. Vito enjoyed the ocean, walking on the beach, and Bocce Ball. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Vito's name may be made to The American Cancer Societ,P.O. Box 22718, Oklahoma City, OK 73123-1718 and St. Jude's Children Research Hospital, 501 St Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105. Arrangements are under the careful direction of Cardwell Funeral Home.
