Brenda Causey, 63, passed away Monday, August 20, 2012 in Orange City following an extended illness. Born in Camp Branch, West Virginia she was the wife of the late Douglas Causey of DeLand who passed away October 15, 2011. Prior to her illness she was a homemaker. She is survived by sons Robert (Toni) Causey, Fernandina Beach, Florida, Christopher (Sheria) Causey, Young Harris, Georgia; sister Tootsie Marie (Clotis) Shepherd, Ironton, Ohio; brother Kermit Adkins, Huntington, West Virginia; four grandchildren. The family will receive friends and family at the funeral home on Friday, Aug. 24 from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. for visitation. Funeral services will begin at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel with Reverend Howard Cox officiating. Burial will follow at Ebenezer Lutheran Cemetery in Pierson, Florida. Arrangements are under the careful care of Clayton Frank & Biggs Funeral Home in Crescent City, Florida.
