Dr. Stuart N. Delman, D.D.S., 57, of Palm Coast, FL., formerly of Lake George, NY., died peacefully, March 5, 2013 at the Stuart F. Meyer Hospice House following a two week battle with brain cancer. Dr. Delman was born April 30, 1955 in Brooklyn, NY., a son of David and Anne Nudelman. He was a graduate of the North Carolina School of the Arts, where he studied oboe. He received this bachelors degree from the Brooklyn College, and his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from New York University. He owned and operated his own dental practice in Chestertown, NY from 1993, till his retirement in 2012. Prior to practicing in Chestertown, Dr. Delman practiced in New York City from 1981-1993. Dr. Delman was a member of the New York State Dental Association and the American Dental Association. Dr. Delman was also a professional oboist. He loved and enjoyed racquetball, tennis, hiking, cycling, classical music. He also had a green thumb, and was a professional and award-winning photographer. Dr. Delman loved life, and excelled in everything he did. His kind and loving personality and sense of humor will be sadly missed by all who knew him. Dr. Delman is survived by his wife of 27 years, the former Suzanne Mary Wechsler, whom he married March 31, 1985; one sister, Sharon Wagreich of Monroe, NJ; one brother, Barry (Dianne) Nudelman of Staten Island, NY; numerous nieces and nephews; and his two beloved poodles, Biscuit and Lily. Family and friends will be received Monday, March 11, 2013 from 10:00-11:00 am at the Craig-Flagler Palms Funeral Home, 511 Old Kings Road in Flagler Beach, where memorial services will be held at 11:00 am. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Dr. Delman's name to the Stuart F. Meyer Hospice House, 150 Memorial Medical Parkway, Palm Coast, FL 32164 or the National Cancer Research Foundation, 4600 East West Highway, Suite 525, Bethesda, MD 20814.
