Fred C. Kreft, age 85, of Deltona, passed away June 26, 2013. Mr. Kreft was born in Flint, Michigan, October 3, 1927. He was the son of Fred and Margaret Kreft. He was united in marriage to Eleanor Morgan in 1947. He retired from General Motors after 36 years of service. He was a lifetime member of the Masonic Consistory and Shrine. He was also past worthy patron of the Order of Eastern Stars. He was an avid lawn bowler and lane bowler for over 60 years. He belonged to several bowling associations and was inducted into the Volusia County Bowling Hall of Fame in 2005. He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Eleanor; daughter, Carol (Donald) Gwin; two grandchildren Brad (Jennifer) Chasteen, Leigh Anne (Jeff) Rivers; five great- grandchildren: twin boys, Matthew and Andy and Zoe Chasteen, Cooper and Morgan Rivers; sister, Patricia Conley of Flint, Michigan. He is predeceased by his sister, Barbara Hards of Flint, Michigan.
