Louis died on July 13, 2013 after a courageous battle with cancer. Born on December 25, 1950 in Copiague, NY, he lived in Babylon, NY and Orlando, FL before settling in Deltona, FL with his sister Karen LeCours Handley who precedes him in death by two months. Louis served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War and later earned his BA in Accounting. Known for his strong work ethic, he was also a gifted Carpenter and avid gardener for most of his life. Louis is survived by his son Christopher LeCours, his wife Sofia Segami, and their daughter Eve LeCours all of Winter Park, FL; his daughter Gin LeCours, her fiancé Jonathan Chang, and their daughter Emily Chang all of Orlando, FL; his sister Pam LeCours Carmichael of Rock Hill, SC; his brother Terrence LeCours of Orlando, FL; his brother, Chad LeCours of Atlanta, GA; his canine best friend Hunter; as well as six nieces and nephews and many other family and friends who loved him dearly. A funeral service will be held at 2:00PM on July 27 at the Halifax Health Hospice of Volusia/Flagler in Orange City, FL.
