of Ormond Beach, FL passed away at home on July 22, 2013 with her daughters at her side. Mary was born and raised in Saddle Brook, New Jersey. She lived in Medford, NJ; Jamesburg, NJ; Raleigh, NC and moved to Ormond Beach in 1999. She married Frank Zarkowski in October, 1952 and was married for 28 years until his death in 1980. Mary worked at Rossnagel Industries in Medford, NJ; Bristol Myers Squibb in Princeton, NJ and Piling Weck in Raleigh, NC. Mary spent much of her retirement in Bear Creek and enjoyed playing Rummikub and Dominoes with her wonderful friends in the community. Mary also enjoyed Aquarobics, Bingo and spending time with her granddaughter. She is survived by her three children, Linda (George) Schofield of Ormond Beach, FL; Barbara (Tom) Ross of Keystone Heights, FL and Frank (Cindy Simmons) of Clayton, DE; her loving granddaughter, Emily Ross of Boca Raton, FL; and her sister Helen Levenduski of Manville, NJ. Mary was predeceased by her husband, Frank and brother, Joseph Kuchta. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. She was very close to her niece Denise (Timothy) Seise of Jacksonville, FL and dear friend, Mary Short of Medford, NJ. She will be deeply missed by her granddogs, Zachary and Cash. Mary leaves many wonderful friends and neighbors in New Jersey, North Carolina and Florida. Arrangements by National Cremation and Burial Society, Oviedo, FL. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated, Saturday, August 3, 2013 at 11am at Prince of Peace Catholic Church, 600 S. Nova Rd., Ormond Beach, FL. Family will receive friends from 10am-11am at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Volusia Flagler, 3800 Woodbriar Trail, Port Orange, FL 32129.
