Caterina Maestrello, 79, of Ormond Beach, passed away Wednesday, September 11, 2013. She was born in London, England July 22, 1934. During and following World War II, she was raised by her grandmother for 10 years in Carisolo, Italy. She continued to visit Carisolo every year with her husband, children and grandchildren. Caterina was an artist and teacher. She was a member of Prince of Peace Catholic Church and attended the Carmelite Monastery in Korona. She was a gentle, loving, caring, humble and very sincere wife, mother and grandmother. Predeceased by her daughter Elvira Maestrello, she is survived by her husband of 55 years, Dr. Lucio Maestrello; daughter, Dr. Margherita de Moya (Dr. Victor de Moya); sons, Dr. Chris Maestrello (Lori) and Dr. Steven Maestrello (Laura); daughter, Dr. Andria Klioze (Dr. Scott Klioze); her brother, Jimmy Nella; and ten grandchildren.
