Helen Mae Galager Ringle, age 78, of Edgewater, passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 31, 2013 at Halifax Health Hospice's Edgewater Care Center. Born in Trenton, New Jersey on May 24, 1935 to the late William and Helen Galager, Mrs. Ringle lived there until 1997 when she retired from the New Jersey State Environmental Protection Agency and moved to this area. She was formerly employed by Princeton University's Plasma Physics Department and Saint Francis Hospital in Trenton. Helen was an avid bowler, loved to travel on cruises, and spending time at the "Jersey Shore" with her family. Memories of Helen will be cherished by her many friends and relatives. Survivors include one daughter, Colleen Cook of Marlton, New Jersey; one son, Michael Ringle and fiancé, Stephanie Harmon of Edgewater, two daughter-in-laws, Brenda Ringle of Edgewater and Jennifer Ringle of Conshohocken, Pennsylvania; four granddaughters; three grandsons; five great-grandchildren; three sisters, Margaret Bowers, Jean Powers, and Joan Brower; one sister-in-law, Patricia Galager; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Mrs. Ringle was preceded in death by her husband, Walter T. Ringle; two sons, Thomas W. Ringle and John C. Ringle; and one brother, William Galager. Memorial service will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 6, 2013 at Halifax Health Hospice of Volusia/Flagler's Edgewater Care Center, 4140 S. Ridgewood Avenue, Edgewater, Florida 32141.
