Raymond Joseph Kennedy, Jr., age 55, of New Smyrna Beach, died Sunday, February 2, 2014 at his home. No services are planned. Born in Sanford, Mr. Kennedy, a Navy Veteran, chef, graduate of the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, New York and the University of Central Florida. A member of the Catholic church, he loved cooking, camping, bicycling, diving in the springs, sports, and music. Survivors include his mother, Evelyn "Jerry" Kennedy; one brother, Mark B. Kennedy; two sisters, Mary Yackel (Gregory) and Gretchen D'Antico (John); and nieces and nephews, Lauren Olesiak (Trevor), Andrew Morrison (Ashley), Kristopher Kennedy Yackel, Eric Kennedy, Nicholas and Alex Morrison, Grace, Rocco, Bella, and Spencer D'Antico.
