Rosemary V. Fox, 99, of Ormond Beach, Florida and Traverse City, Michigan passed away on Saturday, March 22, 2014 at Florida Hospital Hospice Care, Daytona Beach, FL. Born October 4, 1914 in Trenton, MI to Emil and Alida Victor. She was raised in Detroit, MI then retired to Roscommon, MI. In recent years she spent half the year in Traverse City, MI, and the other half in Ormond Beach, FL. She was a homemaker, a devout Catholic, a parishioner at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Roscommon, MI, and attended St. Brendan Catholic Church in Ormond Beach. She loved spending time with her family and hearing about their daily activities. She loved attending church, going to the casinos, playing cards and scrabble. She was a member of St. Ambrose Altar Society, and St. Michael's Women Club. For the past three years, she occupied her time diligently making thousands of Angel tags which provided gifts for needy children at Christmas. Rosemary is survived by her children, James (Donna) Fox, John (Patty) Fox, Patricia (Joseph) Soboslay, Thomas (Gina) Fox, Marilyn (Greg) Blanche, Michael (Susan) Fox, Barbara (David) Perryman, Lawrence (Lori) Fox, and Stephen (Vicki) Fox, by seventeen grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her loving husband of 67 years, Irwin "Ike" Fox in 2006, by a son, David Joseph Fox in 2003 and all eight of her siblings. Mass of Christian Burial will be concelebrated by Fr. Thomas Barrett and Fr. James Queen on Wednesday; March 26th at 11:00 a.m. with a viewing beginning at 10:30 a.m. at St. Brendan Catholic Church; 1000 Ocean Shore Blvd, Ormond Beach, FL. Inurnment will be held at a later date in Traverse City, MI. Memorial contributions may be made in Rosemary's memory to St. Michael's Catholic Church, 104 N. 6th Street Roscommon, Michigan 48653 or any .
